    • It depends on the terrain. For urban rucking on concrete I recommend running shors with a thick sole and midsole. In a Goruck Challenge, for example, you will cover a lot of mileage on asphalt in addition to getting wet and carrying weight in you ruck. If you are doing distance rucks on trails I still recommend a running or trail shoe with a good thick sole and mide sole. The shoes might be heavier than a minimal shoe or most trail shoes but you will haveote cushioning which will make your feet happy over long distances. I don’t recommend cross trainers as they tend to have a thin midsole. These are my two cents.
